You know already how much I love Substack as a creator and a reader!
One of the things I found tricky at first, was finding folks to subscribe to and read. I use the substack app for reading and the desktop for writing.
Of course, it was easy to find the ‘big’ names but their style tended to be confident journalistic writing and I like a mixed reading experience here. I love a suprise ‘un-staged’ photo or a vulnerable share - I’m all about the messy human experience - after all I’m having one too!
We are influenced and inspired in so many subtle ways irl and online.
I’ve done a lot of work on my own self development over the years and I know for me, connecting to folk who feel ‘like minded’ is really important. It gives me a sense of community and spirit as a solo creative.
