An Honest Breakdown one year on - Soul Space - Our Allotment Garden Tipi Retreat
Energy output, abundance and joy!
In bringing the vision board to life there are twists, turns, bumps in the road. Things you don’t share on your highlights reel. There are moments where you think it’s not going to work, tears and joy. It’s been a mini adventure in expanding possibilities here for us and for our guests.
In my experience to big embodied dream never (quite) looks the way your Pinterest board might BUT it’s a living breathing thing and it’s happening right in front of you. It’s aligned even if it’s hard.
We had a vision for a (Soul Space) tipi space last summer but it just didn’t quite happen. It was kinda cobbled together from my Pinterest boards of old, my enthusiasm to diversify our income and Dave’s passion for making the most of our allotment garden space at the back of our house.
Turns out managing a permaculture allotment space is actually a huge project to set up, think about and keep on top of when you REALLY haven’t got a clue.
We took on this challenge with gusto like we were staring in a nail biting documentary of our on lives! Viewers would have been entertained, that much I know.
First came the chickens, then failed experiments in growing, sketches and drawings, every-year over abundance of apples, the memorial pond, the organisation and more organisations, removal of the lawn, the re-organisation, the building of an aviary in the snow, hot composting and so so much more.
