Love this perspective on potential! Impact is important to me - doing work that really matters and has long term effects. Love the prompt-what do you want to be know for. One I come back to again and again 😊
Gorgeous, Claire. Both this and Sparkle support boundless possibility and it’s such an expansive word (also to be fair, I’m probably still quite triggered by its evil cousin, Potential!)
Haha - light and shade always... the more work I do on envy (something I struggle with online) the more I understand we can alchemise it into potential - being the first in our bloodline to do the work is a privilege and an art! xxx
Love this piece Claire. I'm going to ponder your journal questions. I'm 30 and still don't truly know what specific role I want to do, however I do know that I am called to be creative, work with and for women (especially mothers) and be in a job that has a real sense of community! When we don't fit into those cookie cutter jobs that's pushed onto us at school, it's sometimes easy to lose sight of your vision and calling! But like you said, it's possible to carve your own path!
Yeah I feel like it's always about the next right thing - sometimes the future feels too much and so I plant bulbs and write my heart out and offer the next thing my clients are asking for and that's enough - I'm so glad we're having this conversation Maisie!! xx
