What really happens when we stop rushing
A collaborative interview on creativity in motherhood.
“I had a narrow view of what being a creative was which really expanded in Motherhood”
This post is a BONUS post and part of a celebration of
WONDERFUL crowdfunded project Entwined. You can read more about it here;I’ve written a piece for the Entwined book. I wrote it when I was in an impossible place. It’s not my usual up-beat style but I’m so proud of it.
I wanted to interview one of the other writers and invite you to a special event this Saturday evening. All welcome.
An interview on creativity in motherhood with
Lisa, a contributor to the book and a creative mother has answered these four questions unfiltered and beautifully in her expression. Have a listen?
1. What does being part of Entwined/ Ember mean to you?
2. What did you write about?
3. How does creativity weave itself into your world of motherhood and how has this changed over the years?
4. Do you have tips or some words to share for a new mum who is wondering about her evolution in creativity?
Thanks Lisa and thanks to you all for being here and witnessing this wonderful work in the world.

You can still pre-order a copy of our book ‘Entwined: an Anthology of Creativity and Motherhood.
It’s so beautiful and we really appreciate all your share and support.
From an accessibility viewpoint it would be good to have transcripts of inter views to a) read whilst listening (my auditory processing skills are rubbish) b) read without the audio on days when overly noise sensitive. I hope to have a day where I can listen to these.
Thanks for making the time for this in a busy month. 🌿💕💫
