If you chose just one online space to be ON, which would it be?

Hi all
Following my announcement on this post, I’ve added in creative co-working sessions with a specific business focus here every 6 weeks. There will be gentle accountability, shared connection to our 2024 goals and focussed growth! You’re all invited!!!
My intention is that we’ll focus within a 6 week container using the comment thread here on Substack honing in on just one topic and introducing a new one every 6-8 weeks.
We are starting with focussing on growing ONE of our online spaces.
Some background…
I started a club called Creative Content Club in winter 2021. I wanted to bring people together to be creative with their online content. We chatted via voice notes, I held space for shared knowledge, accountability and so much more. It was magic. The freedom to bring ALL of our online ambition into one space worked so well. During the club sessions I realised how much of our energy was split across SO many places online for business and pleasure.
Facebook pages, groups, instagram, twitter, linked IN, whatsapp groups, our mailing list, pinterest - our attention was pulled all over the place! We made content calendars and stuck to plans, we brought focus to our ideas. We dabbled with tiktok and all left it alone after two weeks. It was fun and it was of it’s moment.
Last year, I taught a masterclass called Chose Two - Social Media for Creative Hearts based on the premise of choosing and focussing on two online spaces per month to ‘be’ online. It’s a process I follow myself and it works so well.
Since I focussed on ‘just’ my Substack publications, I’ve grown my profile from 0 to 7000 subscribers. I also pop into instagram twice per week but I don’t use a follower metric there as they seem to go down as much as up!
Over on YouTube my channel, I post two videos a month and it’s growing - I’m shooting for 1000 subs this year. On pinterest, my lovely VA takes care of my pins and my only goal there is visibility which I track through link clicks.
One of the members of Content Club had a post go viral on instagram recently - 140k followers overnight. Going viral was something we all thought we should chase for a while back there when instagram gave us a swipe up at 10k followers. In reality it’s been super intense for her.
There are a million and one stories about how to grow your business on the internet - this one is the one you write yourself. The one that matches your ambition focussed on creative expression and work that feels GOOD.
You can bring focus to any online space…Substack, Instagram, YouTube - one space you use for your business, one space that helps you feel visible, brings you clients. It can be a space that’s stagnant or one that feels like it’s flowing. The rules are you have to choose just one and focus on it for a whole 6 weeks.
The first call is totally free, replay available for members here.
You can join us by registering here for FREE.
Session one - Thurs 18 April 1pm-1.50pm GMT. Timezone convertor is here.
So before you go, tell me in the comments, which space are you bringing attention to this year, this month, this week? Have you tried an experiment like this before?
I am bringing my attention to my 💎 Diamond Membership over on
- working on a post just for them to go out next week.Looking forward to hearing from you and hopefully seeing you at co-working where we’ll go deeper on this topic and get some work done! Any questions? Just ask!

I'm so excited to join this! I focused mainly on Instagram the last 4 years and don't have a big following (less than 4K total on 2 accounts) and lately I've been feeling uninspired to be there—its very noisy and repetitive!
So now I'm really loving the community on substack and feeling drawn to grow a following on this platform. There's so many awesome people here and I love the ability to share many mediums. I'm a photographer mostly but love to write and create guided audio/music as well :)
Pinterest has been on my radar as well. This will likely be my next move. Thank you for everything you share on here!
Oh...to have only one thing to focus on. That sounds blissful. I finally back home and gathering my time and energy once more. I feel pulled in 10,000 directions but I am grateful for this space and your guidance. This is the place I want to be, so I am bringing my creativity and focus here. I have been procrastinating my new name and turning on paid. Not sure why but it's time to make some plans. I'm excited to show up tomorrow.
