Thanks for this lovely listen Claire 🌺 A couple of things stood out for me. One, when you talked about protecting your nervous system... I thought oh yes, I must be really careful to do that too. And then two, running your own race. Now that I'm on Substack and have written a couple of posts and have got some lovely subscribers already …
Thanks for this lovely listen Claire 🌺 A couple of things stood out for me. One, when you talked about protecting your nervous system... I thought oh yes, I must be really careful to do that too. And then two, running your own race. Now that I'm on Substack and have written a couple of posts and have got some lovely subscribers already I'm feeling Oh no what I have I done? I'm not planning to have paid subcribers as yet because already I'm feeling the huge responsibility of writing something when I have even free subscribers ..... it feels like another thing I have committed to when I said I was going to slow down and keep things simple. I'm fully aware though that it's the usual expectations I load on myself.... 🌻
Yes I think because I only spend 3 days on Instagram and no other platforms I really notice when something doesn’t align here or anywhere else.
Aw I totally hear you and want I want to say is that I wrote Notes from the Sea (my monthly email) every month around the first of the month for 5 years on mailchimp before Substack. It had a format and I showed up for that and then sent it and I had VERY few replies and very slow growth.
So I feel like when I started here I just wanted space to feel out what was important, what I had to say and what it could be and no one ever asked anything more. I think there’s been a real buzz of new folks here so it’s a lovely time to fathom things out alongside others or just ignore what everyone else is doing and show up for your own soul whispers.
Your writing and sharing is unique and beautiful. 🐠 ✨⭕️💝
