Lovely written post Claire ❤️ one of my tasks this week in the artist’s way was to listen to 20 mins of music 🎵 saw the complete unknown at the movies last night so thought I might give Bob Dylan a listen not my usual choice of music x
My husband has had extreme chronic pain with unknown cause essentially since I got pregnant. It’s been a wild ride caring for him and a now-toddler. Just wanted to say I see you. It’s hard. You’re not alone.
I’m so sorry and thank you Jessie! I listen to a mum entrepreneur who’s husband had a stroke when her baby was small - I’m not even sure how I found her but it’s comforting to me all the same to know everything she teaches is from a place of everything falling apart. Sending love. 🙏
An entire year of construction noises in the house next to me would drive me insane as well! I guess whenever you can, try and take a break and go for a walk outside, somewhere more quiet, allow your nervous system to relax. When all else fails: noise cancelling headphones! Take care 💖
I’ve only ever found the silence you mention in Japan. There are a lot of houses available there away from the tourist hot spots. But leaving the U.S. longterm may not be an option for you at this time.
Lovely, vulnerable post that resonates in so many ways. You are even more remarkable Claire when I hear about all the noise and disturbances you have worked through.
Come to Sidmouth in Devon, it’s on the beautiful Jurassic coast , a charming , quiet town , no amusement arcades , 2 beaches and a creative community.
Oh music I hadn’t listened to anything much really for such a long time BUT the incessant barking of a very bored new dog across the back of our property and the ongoing noise of a grinder later in the day/evenings through this holiday period saw me start to reach for my headphones & music again. Currently listening to Hiss Golden Messenger on repeat along with an audible Bible challenge. It is keeping me sane!!!
Thank you Claire for such an honest and open piece. One I can relate to as I am sure others do and not just because I listen to Taylor Swift if the car. Look after yourself ❤️

Thanks Sophie. I’ve made an action plan for this week! I love being home to take calls and make videos. Hopefully it’s nearly done. 😵💫✨

I love Devon! Thanks for that reminder - I wonder if we could afford the house prices...
